If you want your music to become more widely known, you could try submitting your YouTube channel to the MLP Music Archive
It’s a package that most DJs, radio stations and other people download and use as a source for music updates and such, including our own.
I have recently submitted my SoundCloud to them, and have been assured it will be added to the archive.

It’s run by Sci, a popular brony artist. Also, there are a lot of artists there willing to give you a hoof with anything you need.
If you add my Skype contact (westjgames) I can recommend you be added to the MLP Music Discussion group. This is a little more high-tone than the IRC chat above, and has all the famous brony artists there.
Also, try submitting your music around. We’ll gladly play it on Fillydelphia Radio, also, you can get your music on Celestia Radio through EqBeats http://eqbeats.com
